hi

boss what do u mean by temporary registration will u plz explain that ?????

plz tell me abt the fuel efficiency of i10

When we buy a car, the dealer gets it registered with local RTO temporarily for a period of 30 days, and thereafter, delivers the car.  This is done to enable the buyer to drive the car till he/she completes the formalities of regular registeration (which does not take more than a couple of days, otherwise).  Temporary Registration fee (Rs.500/- in Gujarat) is normally borne by the dealer - or could be bargained so.

Regarding mileage of i10, like Sri has said, it gives 14/15 in city & 17/18 on highway.  Those getting beyond 17/18 on highway may be driving it at a optimum speed (for best mileage) of 60/65 kms or may not be measuring the mileage correctly (kms run between 2 tank fulls divided by no. of litres filled).

I10 is a good car with so many new features as compared to Santro - so I don't think people would mind paying extra 10-15K. Anyway!

Sorry Pal, I completely agree with Sri. With all the good / new features, i10 is still over-priced as of now. Besides, if it is to really replace Santro, then it is natural for it to have some additional features that Santro doesn't have. Hoping that the dynamics of auto market (read competition) will bring the price of i10 to a reasonable level in near future.

Till then, awe!!!

According to me THe i10 is class when compared to WagonR , Santro , Spark

The power is good, better interiors , Good space , Beter gearshift , Good milage , plus Hyundais service and reliability and after sales support is good

Think your choice is good , i would also sugest you to look at the Swift

CHeers,
Sri
