how does i10 compare with Wagon R, especially when Wagon R is likely to be replaced by Splash. which one to prefer to buy now, or wait for Splash.

Any news about likely timing of splash ?

Of Course when competetion Stifens the naufacturer will come up with Discounts , for instance look at the Estilo when it was launched there were no discounts but as it is selling in very low numbers Disconts are Peaking up and right now maruti is offering rs 25000 discount for the Estilo and even though it sells very well they Give discounts but not by very much say 10000 rs

but these discounts depend on Demand and production and Selling and competetion

If you see the Swift Diesel and the Sx4 it has been over 8 months of launch of these 2 cars and its in high demand and there is no dicount for it , but in near future when competetion stiffens u will see that even these 2 cars will be offered with discounts too

cheers,

Sri

i have opted for zen on that discount rate than i10!

why do i keep forgetting my posts? how do you people remember on which site you posted what??

Jokes apart, the more you participate, the more you get involved... the more you get involved, the more you remember.  Anyway, it's sometimes confusing.

In any case, there should not be a problem, as there's a system whereby each member is intimated/updated through e-mails regarding the participations on the threads they have participated in.

what about Upsizing of tyres from 155/80/13 to 185/60/13 or 175/70/13, which is best option.

i10 can be considered as a very good small segment car with good/decent interiors & features.  Performance-wise, it is a very good car for city drive & occasional highway driving - like WagonR & Santro, but better. It gives a mileage of 13/15 in city & 16/18 on highway - depending upon the driving conditions & style.  Mileage is better than Santro & almost at par with WagonR (little less, infact).  All in all, it's a good city car - value for money.

I donn't think this is true.  Please go through the review of road test conducted by CarWale - read "Hyundai i10 tested" under the forum "Roadtests/Reviews/Test-drives" under the category "Indian Cars".
