But yes, you can always convert your car from LPG to CNG.This conversion will further cost you some 30,000 rupees.

lpg cars can nvr b converted to cng ........ and ..... cng cars can never b converted to lpg

(unless of course mr sharma is talking abt removing one kit altogether ........ and replacing it with th other)

ur endorsement of my clarification vide th immediately preceding post .....wud surely help readers, banwari ........... else on a plain reading of ur statement ........... " u cn always convert ur car from LPG to CNG' ........... a false impression was created that an LPG kit cud always be modified to run on CNG

I agree Vidhur. Thanks for correcting. The text written by me earlier is surely misleading. Maybe I tried to cut three lines text to two lines and it happened. Shortcuts don't always work.

Yes Vidhur, absolutely. I explain myself more explicitly. An LPG car can be fitted CNG kit by removing LPG kit and installing CNG one. This conversion will cost 30,000-35,000 rupees (cost of new CNG kit).

I am Parth from PUNE.
I have an Opel Astra, Petrol Model.
It is a great car but it's not economical as the petrol prices as increasing day by day.
My current average is 9kn/ltr.

I would like to convert it to LPG/CNG.

Which one is a better option ?
What are the costs involved?
What are the pros and cons of LPG vs CNG?
What would you recommend ?
My priority is more mileage.
What would be the cost per km once converted to CNG/LPG ?

Please suggest me what to do.
