didn't really got it....tell me in terms of which part of the car torque and power respectively are measured at?...Undecided

the reason for my question is... both mahindra scorpio and xuv500 have the same 2179 cc engine ...but the xuv500 delivers more torque and power ...my question to you all is.. why is there such a difference...both are diesel , have the same size of engines ...then what are the contributing factors for the better performance of the XUV500!!!......plz coment

@Sagar - it is true that German cars have a good build quality but Japanese cars are not that bad either. In terms of the metal used (outer body) the vento will have an upper hand but fit and finish is almost identical for both. I would say the city is more value for money in comparison to the vento (comparing petrol versions only)

@Gujjar - each engine can be tuned to get better figures for power and torque but that would be at the cost of FE. The same fiat multijet engine is used in the punto and linea/vista and manza but in the linea/manza they give 90bhp power and in the vista/punto they churn out 75 bhp (barring the punto 90hp). So its just the way you tune the engine

An accident is generally the result of a screw loose in the nut behind the steering wheel
