@Shridhar - that is what it means to be married! ;-)

Anyways, spoke to Satish just now about timings - how does 12:30 - 1:00 PM sound for all to reach dara's dhaba?

just a suggestion - I think its better to target 12.30 in mind so that everyone is there by 1 or so. By the time we all meet up and place the orders it would be 2 anyway. So the earlier the better. This is assuming I will be able to make it this time. Dont get mad at me if its otherwiseUndecided

I will be travelling from Vile Parle in  my Vento unless some one really want to try my Palio NV Cool

Also seems that most of us are getting their own vehicle. Nitin please get your Punto as well.

Who so ever reaches first will reserve a table for appx 8 to 9 people. Will order Al carte(I think thats the only option). Its been almost 10 yrs since I have been to Dara's dhaba so am really excited. I do not expect much crowed being Saturday.

Hey Guys.. dont forget me. I have no idea what and where is this dhaba. Only thing I know is my sister's house and ofcourse Satish's house. Can it be something like we all meet at some common point and then drive together to the destination?

Anshu, This Dhaba is right on Western express highway. You need to cross Dahisar Toll/Octroi naka & is appx 2 to 3 kms on your left.

Dont worry we will catchup on Phone.

I'm not in favour of using so many vehicles; let's be a little more responsible towards the environment.

Nitin - coming from Thane - and Master - from Vile Parle - will need their two vehicles.

Anshu - can come with Master

Chaand - Is it possible for you to coordinate with Master? Since you are at Oshiwara, maybe you can meet Master somewhere on link road or Andheri flyover. I'm assuming Master is coming from Vile Parle (W), otherwise Chaand may be better off bringing his own car.

Centaur - coming with Nitin

Rohit - from Borivili - can hop into any of the cars from the highway.

That leaves me. If anyone wants to drive the Safari (I know Rohit does and Master wants to hear the new speakers in my Safari), I'll bring her. Else, I guess I can join Nitin and centaur at JVLR. If Nitin is planning to come via Ghodbunder, then I do not have an option. I'll have to bring my Safari. Or else, I pick up Master, Anshu and Chaand. Note: I'll be coming from Marol.

Hmm, worst case --> 4 cars; all of us bring our cars, except Rohit and centaur

Best case --> Only 2 cars; Master/Anand and Nitin.

Any more persons expected?

Anand, Good homework done. But the agenda of the meet is "CARs" and so we expect more cars of different make and size and shape etc etc. And hence every one in their own car. And if you want to restrict the number of cars, then I will get my safari and you get yours... it will be good for 20 of us. What say. Wink

slightly OT but wanted to post this since long here. We say its a man dominated society but look at all the men here taking permissions from Home ministers and Dy home ministers Wink

OT, of course: Lol. Looks like you are not married, yet.

Actually I am married but I was just looking at the irony, where in a male dominated society all the men take decisions after consulting/permission from the female counterparts
