paint color difference

I servivced my car  to remove a dent ,service guy removed the dent and re-paint the particular area only ,

So when I have little deeper look at the area ,I can find the difference ,the newly painted area is brighter than other area.WHen i ask the service they asked me 1K to apply a polish then no difference will b found

is there any other way I can elimnate this difference ?

Firstly which is the colour? And is it a metallic or solid colour?

There could be different reasons for a colour mismatch. Also, its difficult to get a 100% match. Even the best paintjobs can be detected by a curious eye! If it is done from an authorised service station, you can get it redone by them after showing them the mismatch of colour. Else, warn them that you will speak and show in their service feedback. They will come behind you. Before all these, its better you provide details of the car as well as some pictures if possible.

it is maruthi Dzire and the color is bright red and i serviced my car maruthi authorised service centre only ,

when i checked with the service guys ,they said "max" quality they given  and also told that "it is natural effect a car has differnce in color if we repaint a particular area"

Then I think that the car has become dull due to swirls and hence is the difference. Red is an easy colour to match and difference is not so common. Think that if the other parts are detailed, then it will look uniform. They are advising you to get a rubbing-polishing job done. You can get it done outside or at the same place itself.
