But it may not be suggestable for a new driver being a sedan.

Could you please elaborate this statement.

Thanks all..

I heard that mileage for Swift is 15-16 in city and 20-21 in highway..

And for Maza its 15 in city and 20 in highway .. Is this true about manza ?

Manza is huge in dimensions compared to swift  , so it may not be that easy to manevuer in city bumper to bumper traffic.

City FE depends on the level of traffic and highway depends on how fast you drive. In both cases tyre pressue is important.

IMO, considering the size difference ( i am assuming Manza is quite heavier), swift would give better FE under the same conditions of driving. The ARAI values are the best indication of 'possible' FE compared to another. Practically what you get will differ.

What I am trying to say is, what others' get in FE should not be the deal sealer but just an indication.

@Lohith, yes Manza does give a decent mileage of around 15 in city conditions but again its a very debatable subject as mileage depends lot on actual driving conditions of an individual along with individuals driving style.

@Uttam, I am sorry but I do not agree with this reasoning that a newbie would find it tough to drive a bigger car. Infact I believe that as new drivers generally tend to drive quite slow and cautiously they are bound to drive big cars in a much better way. But then it depends again on person to person. I would simply try not to generalize such things and would refrain from advising someone to buy a big or small car based on driving experience. my 2 cents

And definitely +1 to Arun's last statement. Someone getting good mileage or bad mileage should be an indicator rather than a deal sealer.

Happy Driving.
