I am just getting My rapid Ambition next week, i am very new bee to the Car audio. I like music and dont mind on budget till 25k over all. can you suggest the best HU, amp, subwu, speaker and tweeters.

Here are my suggestions.

HU - Go for Sony or Pioneer.

Amp - 4 way JBL Amp

Sub - 1100W JBL

Rear Speakers : JBL 3 way speakers

Front Speakers : Go for Components. JBL Again..

JBL will be go value to money & Sound. If any more details pl let me know.

Today i went to J C Road in bangalore. i have the fallowing quote 

JBL P940: Front speakers with tweeter: 4200/-

JBL 609 Power series rear speakers: 4500/-

Pioneer AVH P3350 BT: 25000/-

I asked for HARMAN/KARDON CA 470 AMP: He said Not available:  they were telling its old one not available now .. Is It..? what would be the cost f it is available..? any other good AMP..?

Image Dynamix sub: not available..: any other good sub..? should it be cylindrical or Box type for best stability.

Can you tell me where to AMP and SUb. Mechanic was telling AMP he wil put below seat and Sub in dikky.

I am not sure with the avaliability of Kardon / Harman.. But for Sub & AMP you can go with JBL or Alpine ( Bit expensive on higher range ) .

Regarding fixing the APM & SUB you can go with the mechanic's suggestion. Cylindrical APM are the new version of AMP's and it will kill your boot space. Go for Box type. Go for Sub woofer - CS 1215.

Over all JBL is value for money. HU you can go with Sony ot Pioneer.

Pioneer AVH P3350 BT: 19000 here in chennai.

For my system infinity speakers cost around 10k .

Do get best bargain for the model u gonna install. Only that specific research can be of any benefit.

No point in finding price of jvc in one place and pioneer in another, (cos I did that mistake).

Get your config right , then get quote from 5 dealers for the same config.

Only this can be of any use.

hey guys... thanx for all your free and frank opinion.

my skoda rapid is due to be delivered on 1st March. The dealer is hardseeling me the music system with rear parking camera and mapmyindia for something around 47000. 

Can you please suggest me an alternate music system with speakers? I dont understand whats sub or amp.. etc. i just want to have good and clear sound and that the console should be completely filled by the music system (2-din??)
