Hai dear friends, Now a days we can see many new Tata sumo victa vechicles on roads. How is the performance of these vechicles?Earlier there was problem with breaking? Is it rectified? I want to buy this as I like Tata sumo looks. But I dont know whether it is a good buy. Actually my plan is to buy the Suzuki swift but it is very small and can not accomodate even 5 persons. If there is anybody who knows about SUMO can you plz reply. Thanks in advance, Ravi.

Speed guns can detect the speed but what can detect the accident?

Hi, Im using the Sumo Victa for the past 1 year. Its a good car. Its better than the older versions by its comfort. I get 12 KMPL in the highways. I have not yet been into any sort of problem with it. Steve

Tata Sumo Victa is the most sluggish Vehicle you can ever drive. There is a manufacturing problem in the Vehicle. The Bosh Pump supplied by Lucas is non-caliberated, Needs to be sent once every 6 months for re-calibration! Vehicle dosent move up a speed-breaker in first gear with A/C on! Forget the Ghats. You need to be Herculese to press the Clutch! Drive it over a bump over 40kmph & the Heads of passengers at the second & 3rd row hit the roof(literally). You need to be foolish enough or really unlucky!(like me to own one. Long Live Tata Motors!

The Tata Sumo Victa is good but pales in comparison to the Grande. The Grande was unveiled at the Auto expo and is expected to hit the roads by Feb.

I have been travelling in a Sumo Victa for the last 1 yr to work. The problems mentioned above did not occur with me. Well the performance of the turbo charged version is not sluggish. Infact its on par with the Scorpio Turbo in acceleration. The naturally aspirated version is sluggish.

The Sumo has the most legroom, headroom, shoulder space among all UVs. So if ur head bangs in a Sumo, then u need to buy the Tempo Travellor....jokes apart, it will provide u with the most space in any dimension.

Go for the front facing third row seats. It will be comfortable on long runs. Side facing seats are not comfortable. Efficiency around 12kmpl....u can stretch a bit depending how u drive. If u dnt mind a little noise, go for the Victa Di Turbo. 15kmpl. And dnt buy one in white. Traffic police will always ask for ur T-permit. Get colours like maroon or black or may be blue.

If u can stretch ur budget a bit, go for the Grande. Its mch better 'CAR'. Yes its a car. Power and economy at cheaper price than a Scorpio. Mch betr than a Tavera. U will have street pressence and safety for ur family.

The Grande comes with 2 years/75000 km warranty. And 15kmpl. Another saver.
