done 3rd servicing needs advice on serviced parts

If the service center was to use an individual sachet or can for each car, it would be accepted. They have the product in bulk and use a small measure on each car. Though I cant prove whether it is really necessary or useless, it is not recommended by maruti anywhere. Do you know how much is added? Very less. So next time do not waste money on such additive, or better use a fuel additive if you want.

oil additives (bardahl i think) were always suggested by the HASS whenever I went for service. I refused and told them that anything other than that listed in routine service I will not pay for it. This stopped them from extracting extra money from me. I used to allow engine oil flush every 10k kms but even that I think is not required as long as the oil before changing is still golden brown and not blackish / gritty.
