Good review. As if it replicates my story. But i would to add one point that many people even after liking Vista do not accept and appreciate it, because they have opted for maruti with same features at high price...

Good Review Dr. I own Vista Quadra Aura March 2010 model. I bought this car for Fiat Engine, Gearbox, Suspension, space, price. I am 5'11" with extra flabs so this car suits me the best in terms of space. Price: Trust me it costed me almost of same price(I gotlot of discount, pre-budget price etc) as Swift VXI or Ritz LDI in March 2010 with extra features. Completed 20,000 in 21 months. Gone to Jaipur, Agra, driving it mostly in Gurgaon or NH 8. Mileage around 18 with GGN & NH 8 mix & 23 (I mean it) on Jaipur highway when car was new & I was driving till 80 KMPH. Now a days I have driven it till 130 KMPH & stopped my horses . I only have 2 concerns.

Gearbox-> Hard. Got it changed twice under warrenty. Sometimes I feel like its hard as a bus gearshift. Otherwise most of the times its precise & smooth.

Suspension-> Pathetic. Got suspension bushes changed 5 times till now & Jumping rod arm once, but every now & then car starts rattling on bad roads leading to dashboard thuk thuk sound.

Tata guys themselves have surrendered that sir Suspension & gearbox issue we cant realy do much. Its common.

Lets hope your new Vista have these issues corrected.
