Ritz has good space in the front and decent space in the back. With the current offers, I guess the middle model (Ritz Vxi) or even Vxi with ABS might fit your budget.
However, mileage is something which varies with driving style, traffic conditions etc. If mileage is a real concern, then you may have to look at 1 L engine (like Wagon R) instead of 1.2 L engine (like new i10, Ritz etc).
Are there any other specific features you are looking for, other than space and mileage? First of all, how much is the running per month?
