I have booked a car already this month but I want to register it in January,2012.

For permanent address proof, I have provided them the passport and PAN.

For temporary address proof, they want to have the lease agreement.

I have the agreement but it will be expiring on 31st Dec,2011.

Also, due to unavailability of the landlord I cannot renew it before 3 months.

Dealer says that it is not possible to register the vehicle in January in this case.

Is this is really so?

If so, please help me with options, if any..

The best option would be to get registered it in December itself. Otherwise delay the purchase of the car. Incase you can provide any other acceptable address proof then go for registration in Jan.

Those who claim that they know everything do not know what they dont know.
