Advice needed in Buying Polo 1.6

@Navas: Hi.  Although I'm not a guy who is crazy about cars, I can answer a few of your questions.

1. Maintenance Cost: First Service for the car is after 15000 kms or 1year whichever reaches first. When I asked the sales person, he said it will cost me around 8 to 10k. I had put a small dent in my left door couple of days back. The showroom quotes 6k for removing the dent and repainting the door. I don't know how to judge this price although it seems to be on the higher side.

2. Performance: The car is very responsive in city roads. I have also tried on highways and overtaking and handling is a big plus in this car. I cannot compare it with other cars like swift, i20 and figo as personally I have never driven any other car other than an Alto and my polo.

3. Resale Value: No clue.

4. Polo 1.2 -- 1200 cc,  75 bhp, 3 cylinders
    Polo 1.6 -- 1600 cc, 105 bhp, 4 cylinders

5. From what I have read, the mileage difference between the 1.2 and 1.6 versions are very marginal.

To Carwale Gurus: Please help Navas with details which I have missed or specified incorrectly.
Is Polo 1.6 the best performance hatchback in India?(I tried googling it. couldn't find any specific answers)

i could understand that the average maintenace cost is comparatevly high in POLO.

Now i also would like to know about the feedback of Figo Diesel versions. If anybody can help on me...????? Yesterday i test driven the Figo and it was quiet good on roads..but am not sure about the resale value of Figo.  Am opting for Diesel version of the Figo is only because i may be getting a good resale value for this versions. Please give me truthfull and helpfull inputs..
