Hello All,

I have brought my new (aug 2011 model) car to mumbai as i have shifted to mumbai. i am residing in Thane and would like to re register my car here. i m having original NOC with me.

kindly advise me how much charges i need to pay like Road tax, octroi, misc. etc. and what is the rates of taxes and octroi.

Hi Nishant, try searching the forum with your query and am sure there are many threads giving details as you requested. However the best person to give you exact details would be a local RTO agent as he would have latest data about octroi %age and other details.
