CNG/LPG in Chevrolet Spark

I want to know if a CNG kit can be fitted in Chevrolet Spark....If yes how is the performance with it?

no Waseem.... not yet...... ne new launched car takes atleast 6 months to get a CNG ok certificate.....before that u Legally cannot fit an LPg/Cng kit in ur car.... Do u own a Chevy Spark ??...

Please don't fit CNG in Chevy Spark or any other NEW car, buy the one which comes with CNG/LPG option like WagonR/Santro else go for a used car. Cheers Azad

well..after the warranty gets over..u can always instal a CNG/LPG kit....bt doing that before the warranty expires wud result ur warranty being forfeited by the car maker.... and incase of new cars..it neways takes abt 6 months for the car maker to get a CNG ok certificate..... which states that this particular car CAN run on alternate fuels like LPG/CNG... ur car is still pretty new....as of now,ENjoy it the way it is......

warranty ......... even assuming it bcomes void ..........

by opting for it .... not more than 5% car owners hav ever gained more than 5,000 in th whole yr

but by not opting for lpg .... more than 95%  hv surely lost more than 50,000 in th whole yr !

Hi guys i own a chevrolet spark which is 5-6 months old..............i have already installed lpg.........i have run 2000 kms before installing it i had asked the dealer at my place.......he said "dont worry sir you convert it we will look after warranty".coming to the performance.mileage is 10 km/litre with ac.pick up is same and transmission is suprisingly smoother.top speed is 15% lesser than petrol.mine is a base model a/c but no power steering.

I have just purchased spark 1.0 LS model, i want to install LPG kit but i need feedback from user. Previously i have Alto VX1.1 & used with LPG 1.25Lac km i never found any problem. The dealer said, spark is also good for LPG but he never fitted LPG on spark. Which LPG kit is good for SPARK, I don't know what i have to do ?...Rajesh Vachhani

any italian kit is good in  spark ..... but more importantly u need a professional fitter ........ find th best in ur city .. even if he is not th nearest or th cheapest

please ensure that rto permission is available for th kit u wish to instal for chevrolet spark ............ else wait until such permission is available n then only fit th kit which eceives permission for spark

how much money will it take to fit LPG kit in spark PS model.

also can the rear parcel shelf be put in PS model ?

i have already booked one so want to know the costing incured for LPG kit.

Wats the average of Chevy spark on CNG/LPG and on Petrol i am planning to buy one...please let me know...???
