Mileage of Spark on Petrol is generally 13/14 in city & 16/17 on highway.  On LGP it would reduce by say 2 kms while on CNG it will increase by 2/3 kms.

Running cost on CNG is, therfore, more economical than LPG.  However, it (CNG) will redue the engine power/pick-up by 20-25% (depending upon the Kit, Retrofittment quality / workmanship & maintenance).

CNG is normally preferred for big/bigger cars, as the power/performance loss is not felt much.  For small cars, LPG is better - power loss is only 10-15% while it is still economical as compared to Petro (though not as much as CNG).

CNG/LPG retrofittment should be done only if the run/usage is substantial.

hey guy's if u want to have more power and more fuel effiency try the HHO units, ( Hydrogen generators ) which are easily available...

the logic is we use water H20 and we have to seperate the 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom.

we can do it by Electrolysis of water, and the output is HHO,

1 liter of Water can run your car for approx = 1000kms
using this HHO ( Oxyhydrogen ).. or  AQUYGEN

AND WHEN IT BURNS OUT AGAIN IT IS TRANSFORMED INTO WATER THE STABLE STATE..

for more details

on petrol it will give u about 12-13kmpl, but it depends on ur driving style & on lpg it will give u around 10-11kmpl & ull have to compromise on performance & it is not feasible to install a lpg kit on a new car or ask ur chevrolet dealer that can u install it or no & will it vois warranty & if he can fit for u & than deliver the car including the warranty & insurance for the kit also.

& do tell us ur monthly running so that we can suggest u according to that.

Rajan/Deepam, we have a thread Water4Gas (click the link) exclusively on the subject matter (Water/Hydroden).

Further discussion, if any, we should have therein for obvious reason. Thanks
