Where to Buy the Car Delhi or Bangalore ?

Hi ,

I am a resident of Delhi and currently working in Bangalore. I have to buy a Honda Jazz. The difference between the ex-showroom price between both states is around 17k(delhi is less).I haven't compared thr on-road prices yet.

I read that we need to get the vehicle re-registered for Karnataka after 1 year .But , I will be getting transfered to Delhi in 9-10 months from now.

So I am confused on whether to buy the vehicle in Delhi/Bangalore??

Also please let me know the process of obtaining the necessary documents to run a car registered in some other state in the second state.

Please help me with this info

can someone please help me here... I checked the On road price also..and Delhi is about 60K cheaper than Bangalore...

I would recommend you purchase your vehicle in Delhi itself if you are relocating forever to Delhi and not coming back to Bangalore. In the 9 months that you are in Bangalore I guess you can use public transport or purchase a second hand vehicle which you can sell before you leave

I too would recommend buying it in Delhi. If you wish to get it Bangalore you can get it and use it there by paying road tax.

As informed, buy in Delhi and additionally pay the road tax in bangalore. But keep the road tax recipt handy when you are in bangalore just to show to cops looking for a quick buck.

I would suggest just postpone the purchase while you are in banglore. Banglore is very expensive in terms of road tax. Also after 9-10 months you will have better options to buy from.
