Spare Parts for Fiat Palio and Petra

Hi

Do anybody own a Fiat Palio or Petra? How is the service and spare parts availability. Is Fiat has a spare part mfg facility for discontinued models in India?

I own Palio NV 2003. I am not findinding much of a difficulty here in Mumbai , just because I have a relative who deals in spares. But yes there are chances that in some cases you might not find spares easy or new.

If the car you plan to buy needs major repaires then I would not recomend Fiat, But if car is maintained wel then certainly no one can match FIAT.

I also drive Vento but Fiat still remains my First choice Cool

It also depends on the city which you are in. My relative previously owned a palio here which he sent to kerala now. He still gets parts without much difficulty. Since he is in Pune he buys them here and sends them to Kerala. Not sure how the scenario in kerala is

I have had only limited experience in Delhi, as I used to own palio 5-6 years back. That time there were still dedicated fiat showrooms and service centers , although very few. Dont know now how tata service guys treat fiat owners. That too discontinued models!
