The problems for Maruti Suzuki new Swift's buyers have increased. The bookings were already on high, when the workers stopped production of the car at the Manesar plant of the company. The workers are on strike and they have pledged not to work until their demands are met with. It has been over eight days now, but the company and the workers have not yet reached to an agreement. In the previous month, when the new facelift version of the much loved car Maruti Swift was launched, it took the market by surprise by exceeding the expectations and enjoying a record number of bookings from all over the country. In just two weeks, the bookings had crossed the figure of 90,000. The news is that the bookings would take six to eight months to be delivered with.
Due to this reason, the company has made the decision of declining the booking requests for an uncertain period of time. According to them, they cannot promise their buyers a certain period of time their booking would deliver in. The conditions don't look good as it’s been over a week and the total number of cars produced in these days is just 700. Whereas, it should have been over 9,000 easily. Of course it’s a bad news for everyone who was planning to buy the new Swift. Now they won't get a chance of getting their hands on one, before second half of next year. Keep waiting guys, as there's no other option.
