Sold my car 2 months back but byer did't submited those documents in RTO for RC transfer yet. I'm very confuse if there is anything I can do to ensure that I'm free from any legal issues if he didnt submit those documents in RTO. Please suggest.

Welcome to carwale Binay.

How did you know that he has not yet submitted the documents for the transfer? I would suggest you speak to him and get him do it. I am not sure but probably you can get it written on a stamp paper that the vehicle ownership is his responsibility.

Welcome Binay!

The guy who bought your car is an "Used Car Agent" for sure.  They sell off your car declaring that as a "Single User" car.  Your should courier a letter alongwith COPY of whatever documents you have as proof of sale to the concerned RTO regarding sale of the car.  Insist the courier to give you the POD.  Get the POD from courier and keep it safe.  Good luck!

Never mind what others say, do whats right for that moment!

I agree with "Selva Kumar" because someone called me today and told me that he bought my car from the person who bought my car 2 months back and now the new buyer want that I directly transfer car on his name. Should I support this if he agree to buy the car from old 2 month back date to minimize any security risk. I'm very confuse in this scenario please suggest. My interest is in solving this situation without taking any risk or legal issues.
