- The engine quality in itself is much better than old times
- There is a proper testing and also some running of the car before it is delivered. this takes care of very first runs before the car delivery. So the customer and can simply drive normally from day 1.
But yes, one should adhere to speed limits and avoid running on high RPMs for any car; new or old. That puts extra stress on the engine. Ideally, try to maintain 1000 to 2500 RPM. Ocassionally taking it to 3000 or 3500 is also OK in fifth gear.
