There is no confirmed date yet but there were rumours of it being launched in December. So its your choice if you want to wait or you want to go ahead with the existing Dzire

AFAIK there is no confirmed information yet. You will have to probably wait for some more time.

Which one is better car among Ford Figo and Indigo eCS apart from boot space. I would like to hear about engine performance, FE, ride quality and maintenance cost of this two cars.

Abu,

Figo is definately better than Indigo eCS. Its engine is more refined & should be low on maintenance. I am not sure but TATA cars are expensive to maintain.

Thanks Manish,

I also heard about that, looks like I should go for Figo, as far as my budget limitation and long distance journeys, I need a diesel car, and Figo fits to my choice, its has got great features and decent engine with decent mileage.

Thanks again.

Hi Guys,

I am looking out for a car in the range between 8lakhs to 11lakhs.There is lot of confusion about which model to choose.I am looking at new car from the following perspective. Please guide me.

1) Looking for one time investment and not looking for resale value at all.

2) Wont travel to much or wont travel more than 500KM per month but the petrol prices are increasing every month hence should I go for Petrol or Diesel??

3) Looking out for comfort in driving.

4) Car will run mostly in cities only.

Regards,

Santosh Yandhe

You have not specified sedan or hatch preference.

eventhough your usage is about 500kms/m I would reccommend the beat diesel for comfortable city usage. The low cost of buying and the warrenty will ensure cost of maitenance is low inaddition to fuel cost saving.

It is quite spacious too and good for occasional highway runs.

Next level, you can go for the swift diesel top end.

For a budget of 8 - 11 lakhs you can get bigger petrol sedans and premium hatches diesl/petrol. Considering your requirements (3 & 4) investing  8 - 11 lakhs will not add any value IMO.
