Hi,
IMO, currently the best selling factor in India is Looks, after sales service and VFM due to the following reasons:
Looks- Many are new owners- hence want their cars to look good.
After sales- Many first timers, who can afford, want to learn driving in one car and want to upgrade soon. So, They want good reslae value.
VFM- Since many owners are on a tight budget, they want value for money.
But, this scenario will soon change to the second option, ie, Brand, mileage, features, Luxury, reliability because of the following:
Brand: A number of global brands are entering in to the market which are known for their brand image and quality, which increase the pride of the owner, that too in a soceity where owning a car is increasing. So people would be wanting to stand out of the crowd just by the brand name.
Feaures/ Luxury/ reliability: all would want these in a car. And, as people are more more willing to spend on their cars and with higher income levels , surely this will be favoured.
My heart is the abode of god, but my mind is a devils workshop. and I always listen to my mind.
