One more pointer which might help you is that the fabia is reportedly having 4 new variants coming up. You might want to check with the dealer about them as well just incase you are going for the fabia

An accident is generally the result of a screw loose in the nut behind the steering wheel

Thansk John.7 for your valuable feedback

I started thinking positive about Fabia, but May I know which model you are having? Is it the recent 1.2 petrol or diesel engine? Also May I know what mileage you are getting in city?

Also I heard that the new fabia has loads of cost cutting but i'm yet to see the car.

im having Elegance model. 1.2 diesel. its 30 days since i took the vehicle. in city the mileage u get is 17-18. in highways u can expect more than 20. but if u want to pedal above 140kmph, then ur mileage will be something around 13-13.5 . dont expect more. :P

there are changes in the new fabia. i think ambient is having power windows included and remote locking excluding the air bags. and elegance is coming with defogger and rear viper. dont know as to how true it is. info regarding ambient is true.
