how to find previous history of my car?

since april i have bought my car,i have so many questions regarding how the previous owner was?how he behved with the car?how was the car at that time?was it timely serviced or not?does it have any previous claims?and bla bla.i dont have the service history.whther there are any solutions how to find the service history of car?by researching i have found that the car was bought from concorde motors uppal,hyderabad.as i am not in a mood to go to hyderabad.whether there are any other online techniques to find?if anyone has please throw some light as it helps so mny used car owners also..

You can get it from any of the Tata authorized service centres, the service history.

can i get it in local TASC?or i have to go to hyderabad?

It should be available with local TASC if they are having automated workshops which most of the TASC are. If not then any TASC with automation facility would be able to help you. Karimnagar or Hyderabad or Warangal, doesnt matter.

Just call up any TASC and ask for the service history telling that you are the owner (mentioning the previous owner's name). They ll provide you

This is my experience with TOYOTA. TASC may be similar to this.

If one services the a toyota with an ASC right from dealer purchase, then the asc (for eg ASC 1)has all the details. If I asked another Toyota ASC ((for eg ASC 2) about my car, they were able to pull out only last service date and odo reading at last service. They could NOT tell me what was changed/repaired. For that to happen, I had to service the car at the ASC 2 and then they would download all the history.

Now if I am regular customer at ASC 2 and give up ASC 1 altogether, ASC 1 still has all details of my services.

In short as far as Toyota is concerned, you have to visit an ASC at least once (for service), for them to provide complete details.

I agree with Live2Drive. It is a network and as others have mentioned, you could be able to get it from any authorised service centre. The people there might refuse to give as they will be lazy to look up the database, but if you insist or if  you know someone personally, they can get it to you. Also, you will get service history only if the car is serviced by TASC people. If not, repair data or history will not be available.

TASC said they are not able to get the servvice history for my car.they didnot said the reason why.
