Dear All,

I bought my Vista quadrajet terra edition from VST motors chennai on 2-Oct-2010.

I paid for totally 484532 on road including extended warranty after getting corporate discount & free insurance.

Intiall I received the quote break up from their sales guy named Dhansekar & made payment based the break up. But last month I received the call from tata motors regarding the enrollment for extended warrenty. Than only I came to know VST has not enrolled my car for extended warrenty program.

I called back that guy Dhansekar & he informed that he need one week time to check & enroll my car if not enrolled. After on week I called VST. To my shock they informed he has left the company 3 months before.

I made two mistakes

1) Not checked the extended warrent card during delivery.

2 ) I am not able to fight with VST as he deliberately sent the quote break up from his personal maid id. I overlooked the maid id.

Now VST saying we are trying to help you but that guy has accounted my money 5100 (extended warrent amount) for accessories.

Kindly let me know how can I handle this issue.

Regards

Manian.

Please dont accept any verbal promises from VST. Have a written or emailed evidence always. Did he by any chance mention anything about extended warranty anywhere in any of the documents.

May be during quote discussion , pamplet (ticking something in it) anything like that.

ok , if he has marked this 5100 for accessories , what are they. Dont they maintain an inventory for the accessories or a checklist to confirm that the accessories are fit in your car

@Manian, Why there is a difference in the final amount paid by you and the quoted amount? If Rs. 5100/- was made for accessories, did you get a bill for that? If not ask for a duplicate bill from VST and check for those items in your car. If the accessories were fitted, I doubt VST could help you out. Since your car is less than 1 year old, I guess you can opt for an extended warranty now by paying a premium.

After following them for more than 45 days GM-sales yesterday approved to give me the extendedwarrenty for my Vista Laughing

Team lead yesterday called and informed me that thay will enroll & inform the date so that I can get the warrenty card. I think I have to follow up with them till I get the warranty card as I got the commitment only through phone.

But very  happy with VST motors response to this case. Atleast they spent some time when I called them every day (they never called me till yesterday). Intially I thought VST will not hear my case at all and I have to rely Tata customer service to sort this out, but Tata motors customer service not at all interested. They keep on transfering the calls to somebody whenever I called them.

Thanks for guys opt to help me.
