no matter which dealer you go to, always ensure that it is RTO approved, else you might get into problems which registering the conversion in your RC book/card

Hi chitra,

If you want to install CNG in Beat then go for this dealer in gurgaon from where i got my CIVIC AT fitted with Conventional CNG kit. He did it for my car what everybody refused to do and he did it successfully.

Can you pls elaborate on the conventional kit?

Is it open loop, closed loop or SI kit?

covential and sequential kits both are closed loop circuit the difference lies in the way the gas ininjected in the engine.

in case of conventional kits the gas enters the engine along with the passage of air and also in the process gets mixed with air. in this the gas when it enters the engine initially goes to the first cylinder and then slowly spreads across. this is the only reason you feel slight jerk when changing over from petrol to cng.

in the sequential system gas is injected with getting mixed with air initially through the use of seperate set of injectors. holes are drilled in the manifold just below the petrol injectors. to place gas injectors which injects gas in all the cylinders at the same point of time. this is the reason u don't feel that slight jerk when changing over.

i never wanted to tamper with the main body of the engine that is why i went for a convential kit and luckily i met this guys who was able to sucessfully do it for me despite lot of people refusing it.
