I am planning to buy second hand CAR. Car is registered with Pune RTO. Currently I am staying Thane (MH04). Can I transfer ownership for Pune (MH12) registered CAR in Thane RTO?

If yes do I need any extra documentation or fee?

Welcome to carwale Sujit.

Yes you can transfer it to Thane RTO.

You do need documentation like the PUC for the car, the signed transfer of ownership forms, the insurance etc along with supporting documents. Yes there is a fee for all this.

You need to get the NOC from Pune RTO and submit it along with the required forms and supporting documents at Thane RTO. Hope this helps

If it has been drawn for Hyderabad then that NOC cannot be used for Pune. You would need to get that NOC cancelled and then get a new NOC for Thane.
