Hello,

I have Black Colour 1997 Esteem VX. It is done with 85000 km by now & running on patrol and LPG both. I keep my car well maintained. However now a days its AC is giving problme of cooling. The grill temperature is around 20 degree C.

1. How should I improve the performance of AC? What should I look for to improve the AC performance step by step?

2. Do I have to replace any part?

3. I also want to install a separate headlight (power full fog light) which only spreads quality light on the road very effectively as I drive a lot on highway and generally long distances. Please suggest one.

Awaiting for your informative answer.

Regards,

Sachin

Hello,

for the ac prob,

u need to check your ac system mainly the compressor, That should be expensive to repair if found faulty.. the other thing which should not be difficult is to check the ac/ blower ducts in the dash board and to improve the blower speed by servicing the blower motor

for improving the lights go for clear head light assembly which should cost you 3000/- a pair. change the bulbs/lamps to phillips 90/100 should cost you 280/- a pair. replace the relay/wiring so that it can handle the power load.

thats all i can suggest. get back

Milind

i've ever read such topic at a famous malay forum about the idea of wrapping the cold ac pipe near the engine to stop heat radiation from nearby engine and lots of them have replied successfull and improvement on their ac performance, i dont know if it will be allowed to post the link: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1435499 dear moderator: if you found this link is guilty , just remove it. I'm just trying to help other users, i dont own that forum either. hehe,,
