sorry to go off topic. But is the above info true? I thought diesel engines had more life. Our trucks, buses use diesel and last for lakhs of kms, right? pls clarify. sorry for the off topic. I am concerned abt the i20 crdi in this case.

Just a small clarification. I mean to say maintenance wise & not the actual life of engine

Man the prejudice in ur words is quite evident...dono what the hell were u driving not the Beat deisel for sure...Guys even at 1000cc it gives awesome pickup n power plus the torque delivered is good too...

Ya the space cud 've been better bt still its a worth buy at the price its been marked...the dashboard is funky n gives u a feel f a luxury car which u don't find in a wagonR r ritz which r still basic precentury designs...n d quality GM offers its way above Maruti which is more concerned abt d numbers compromising d quality..n d milage it offers is best in class..so before u write a review gt ur facts n ass right..!

Its true that engine life depends very much on kind of care you take while driving and servicing. Even petrol engine also worn out faster if you dont have oil , filter change at the right time.

The catch is refurbishing petrol engine is easier and lighter on pocket than diesel engine. More refined diesel engine like crdi , tdci etc have fewer expert in market who really know these

Dear Saurabh KG... Do you even know anythng about CARS..?? I pity on you boy.. because..your mental comparison of BEAT with Vista, Ritz was OK..but at the point when you do it the same comparison of BEAT keeping infront of COROLLA..its SHIT..do you even understand what you were doing?? comparing a tortoise with an elephant..boy..my request. Plz come back with some gud reviews with some sensible comparo..!! and for god's sake..how the hell are you able to calculate the fuel eco in jus test drive.. which was the dealer that allowed you to drive his demo car for 13KMS..!! PleaSE TELL ME.. EVEN I WILL BORROW IT FOR HIM..NEEDLESS TO SAY..SAURABH..PLEASE COME BACK TO REAL WORLD. CHEVY'S AIM WAS TO GIVE A SMALLEST DIESEL ENGINED CAR TO THE INDIANS..WHICH WOULD BE AFFORDABLE..
