Can you please tell me about the engine life of Diesel as compared to petrol?

Can i put 15' Magwheels maintaining the overall dimensions? Will there be any Problem on suspension? (Swift Diesel silky silver) Can you recommend some Brands?

Tubeless with Alloys or Magwheels ?

I also plan to add skirting where can i get it done in Mumbai.

Is it recommended to put K & N filter in diesel\?

Both Petrol and Diesel engine have very good life, provided that you maintain them well. Neither will need to be overhauled in at least ten years time.

15" alloys can be installed, no issues. The only change would come in ride quality, since tyre profile is decreasing, ride-quality will suffer. But the change will not be that noticeable. Alloy and mag-wheels are identical. Skirting can be done by any good accessories shop in Mumbai. Look for one around the corner. K & N Filters might void your car engine's warranty, it's not advisable to do this modification until your car's warranty expires itself.

Thanks Very much. Well considering warranty i have postponed the K &N thing until reviews are out.

My dealer is also not allowing me to put audio, security components from outside he says warranty will be lost on electricals if there is any changes to orignal wiring.

Well Maruti has Nippon Security where as i need to put autocop.
Also they dont have pioneer headunits lets see.....
Anyways Thnx

Max, which dealer are you going to? if you cajole them enough, they will for a small fixing charge, fix it for u, and anyway, ask them what is covered in the electrical warranty, and u will realise how useless it is.
I am buying my own setup and then getting it done thru them.
same for security.
I am planning on alpine or pioneer headunit, so no sony explod for me from maruti. they can keep listening to it as much as they want.
for audio
ensure the head unit has 4 aux outs, that way u have options in future if u want a 2nd amp or anything else.
headunit
jbl/alpine amp
jbl components in rear doors, coaxials in front doors,
optional ovals in speaker tray
Kicker hard bass single woofer with a 2 channel amp to drive it separately(thats y u need the extra aux outs in the headunit)
or original pioneer 12inch woofer in an enclosure, or blaupankt active sub with enclosure (abt 13k, no amp needed, active means, built in amp), or jbl bass tube.
All this changes as per your budget/effect desired. If you are very low on budget,,,then just go for 4 aux out headunit pioneer. and 2 pairs of jbl/blaupankt components front and rear doors. listen to them, as per effect u can put an amp. later when u hav the budget, u add a sub and amp, the 4 aux output that i am suggesting you in the headunit will allow you that flexibility later.

Listen dude,
you already have tubeless tires they come as OEM. the size changes as per your model. If you have an lxi then its 165/70 R14 if its a zxi then you have 185/60 R14. So if you want to upgrade, then upgrade to 205/60 R14 bridgestone/yokohama/michelin with lerox/ahura alloys.
bridgestone protezma gIII is for about Rs 3700/tyre less Rs. 1000 for yr existing one if new and driven below 150kms
Yokohama Rs 3300
michelin Rs. 4500 approx
Alloys approx 18k taiwan made for about 12k
after all this remember if you are a stickler for fuel average, then it will drop by about 1.5 km/litre.
you can go to 195/60 if yr existing car is lxi with 165/70 on existing rims..

You can install 15" alloys without worrying too much. Kicker speakers can also be fitted easily.
