If you are a person who except a satisfactory customer service then I don’t think even think of  Shahwar Motives  Bangalore (Nissan)  they are pathetic in service , you call their representatives for a test drive and they don’t turn up for a week and if at all they do they get the wrong car , this was my experience with Shahwar Motives Bangalore , any one out there who can change my view ? I would love to get a Nissan X-Trail ….

Nissan doesn't have many dealers around, so if you want to buy the X-trail, they are the only option to buy the car from, this might be the reason for their bad service, they have the monopoly but that doesn't give them the right to deal with the customers like that. If you need information about Nissan cars, log on to www.nissan.in

Guys, My advise. Think twice before you buy a vehicle from Shahwar. If you still have an option, NEVER BUY THROUGH THEM AT ALL.

I was among those to be delighted to know that the service facility is getting a facelift - and it did. Few things, however, still remains the same. The support staff and management is at their pathetic best. No one takes ownership of any issue. You have to work around, just like in govt. offices, at times even paying under table like govt. orgs. to have your vehicle taken care of. For an individual like me who is passionate about what he drives, this is hell. You take your X-trail with one issue/concern and it drives out with multiple ones. I even have received inputs about certain internal malpractices at service facilty because I caught them switching one part of a certain vehicle with another one, and they dint seem to be wee bit guilty about it.

My X-trail had so called 'turbo' issue soon after it was purchased. I take it to the service station. They said its covered under warranty and so fixed it, just to see it go bad soon after. My driver who quit during this period mentioned that the turbo was not indeed procured and installed but just switched from another running vehicle that arrived for service. Doesnt Nissan check on credibility before they authorize dealerships?

However, the story continues. I was then charged in excess of 40K for the turbo, which now dint come under warranty and that started giving out noise too. In my recent visit in the early quarter of '09 the service management and the sales person I bought vehicle from has the audacity to say "pay me a fraction and I will have it fixed for you and dont worry about the cost, the billing will be taken care off. X-trail has an inbuilt and 'known' turbo issue, shouldn't you have thought about it before purchasing one". She again said it with a flair that she has done this several times earlier.

Anyhow, I have provided Shahwar with necessay warnings already and am currently in process of sueing the organisation. I have with me few other customers of theirs who have had similar experiences. Few of them were cheated of lakhs that they paid as down payment and so on. They are in the process of loosing their dealership anyways. I therefore caution you that your purchase will entirely be at your own risk - in all senses.

Things haven't changed since then , Shahwar still owns the dealership, only dealers for Nissan. Such a nice brand has such a pathetic dealer. If you want to have peace of mind after buying your car, don't ever think of Shahwar Motives. Recently brought Micra from them, pathetic experience, luckily found the service station after 1 hour of hunting, no name board, literaly no service station, it is just a shed, no executive will attend till you break down, once leave your car forget no will pick your call and even if some picks up will not any useful, lot more to say on their pathetic service. But I stop it here by just saying one thing don't ever visit Shahwar motives.

I agree. had requested thrice for nissan micra on road price via their website and also via sales mail ID. No one bothered to reply. I wonder whether anyone from their team checks that mailbox.

Heard good reviews about the nissan cars, and was planning for micra. But from this thread, I understand that I should stay away from them.

BTW, i got a quick reply from my hometown dealer (Kerala). due to high road tax, and service issues, no other choice but to drop nissan and look for another brand.
