@Techfreak,

Since you are using CNG kit in your Honda (civic), you may be a best person to guide me for the below mentioned problem-

Ok, so story goes like this, I had a plan to buy City ivtec and install CNG in the same. But than I learned from Honda dealer that they do not even provide routine service to the car if you install cng in it. "The End" of my honda dream

Than I see this post of yours, claiming you are using CNG in your Civic. once again it gives me hope that I can actually go ahead and drive City with CNG So, what I m looking to know from u is-

1). How are you managing your car's service?

2). How is the ivtec engine's (I understand, civic and city both uses the same ivtec engine) compatability with CNG?

3). Have you installed Sequential kit or plain old conventional one?

4). Last but not the least, very indianized question, "Deti kitna hai" (FE?)

eagerly waiting for ur reply!

Thanks in anticipation!

The cylinder is of 12 kgs, the cost was approx 26 K

@Adi83 You are right they say that won't even give you normal service but then nowadays there are lot of organised service center to give service like carnation and all so i get it from there more over after the warranty expired i now get it done from honda authorised now they don't refuse.

Honda is highly compatible with CNG, to the extent that you don't even come to know the difference.

I have installed a conventional kit sequential is not needed if the person you are getting from is highly trained.

Rather then expecting greater milage you should see to the fact that the fuel expense falls by half how ever if you still want to know then it gives me approx 13-15.

@techfreak:- boss i m planning to buy beat 1.2LS, and i want to install cng in it. So will it be better to have cng in that model, i mean to say will it effect the performance of the engine, pick up etc....and will there be a space for d spare tyre in it. I don't know driving, and i m currently learning to drive. If cng is ok, then which kit should i ask for from the dealer, or let them do on their own ( to maintain warranty clause). I will b grateful, if u pls help me out.
