Wow, great pics Nitin!! You are 'da man' when it comes to photography!! The photo of your car could well be used by fiat for advertising - "exhilirating" is what comes to mind on seeing it.

@Anand - That must have been scary experience on that particular curve for you. You remember it after 5 years indicates it clearly. Last year, in Summer, I took my Punto for the first time to Malshej, new to driving and Punto, at one turn I never knew when she went to opposite lane, scaring me like hell. Thank God, the road was total empty. This time I was in total control, Experience counts right?

If possible, try to avoid Sat/Sun, as the place becomes really crowdy and total mess.

@Sadanand - Which color you've chosen for Punto? I presume you are going for Diesel. I'm sure you'll enjoy every bit of Punto, once it arrives. I'm enjoying it for last 20 months now.

I am getting  Tuscan Wine- I had to wait for couple of weeks to get this color, as this is premium color

and its a petrol, as my usage is limited for wekend drives only

Yup, real scary. Fortunately, my Esteem didn't switch lanes as I kept steering to the left and held on to the steering wheel tightly. It was scary and there was a tempo in the opposite lane.

You were lucky the opposite lane was deserted. Why can't we have proper signages on the road?

Just thought to warn members planning to visit Malshej, take care. Don't speed. Enjoy the natural beauty.
