Hi Everyone,
I had a recent accident where my 2000 model Zen got badly damaged from back. The IDV of my car is 74K. Now the United india insurence has come with following estimates.
1. In case of total loss the liability of the company is 50 (as they will get 20 k by selling my car).
2. In case of repair the total estimate is 90K in which company liability is 48K (considering my high access clause) & i will have to pay 35K.
3. Pay me 32K with car (Cash Less)
They are pressing me to either go for 3 or 2 option as company's liability is less in that case. Can i force them to give me total loss & am i fully authorised to demand for it. Shall i agree to bargain in case of total loss or can i be adamand.
