Please suggest which is better among the 3 versions of marina with respect to performance. Is it a good option to go for petrol version and then converting into LPG after a year rather than spending extra bucks on diesel or dicor versions.
Please give your opinions.

Hi Bharath,

With respect to performance the petrol is better. But in your previous posts even, you never told how much you drive monthly. Please do tell that, then you will get better answers.

depending on your city, i would say that it is even better to convert it to CNG after a year. Expect a 25% drop in power, but You can always fall back on petrol when you need it. But remember that they do some major changes when they convert to :PG/CNG including advnacing the ingnition timing, etc, which will not work best for efficient petrol usage.

But you've got your ideas correct. The 85ps petrol is a lot cheaper and much more fun to drive than the expensive sluggish diesels which will also be more difficult to maintain

@ Anurag...
Hey thanks for the reply. I live in hyderabad and the traffic there is heavy. I usually will drive around 700 km in city and 500 in highways. But, I'm confused. If i buy the petrol version...its not very economical. And diesel version is very expensive and requires high maitenance. So, tell me what will happen if i buy petrol version for now and then later convert it to LPG. How will the performance and fuel economy be effected?
