Please help me with the correct driving skills. I am a new driver practising for last 3 weeks in near empty roads. yesterday for the first time i went to a busy road and made couple of mistakes.
1> when approaching a busy circle what is the correct technique. If I am in 3rd gear, i generally brake a little shift down to second and when I am just in the circle with traffic coming from all directions i tend to cross the circle with my one foot on clutch slightly pressed and the other on brake. Is it the right way - since sometimes i have noticed when i press the clutch and brake together the car accelerates slightly. Please correct me if I am completely wrong.
2> crossing speedbrakers - from 3rd i brake and shift down to 2nd, apply some more brake to reduce speed and over the hump press the clutch slightly to ensure the car doesnt stall . is this process of pressing the clutch slightly while crossing humps bad.
3> how to gain confidence to drive in busy roads.
please help me to learn driving well in busy mumbai traffic.
