Hi,

I wanted to replace my existing wooden plank which houses a 6X9 pioneer speakers. Any suggestions on a better (MDF etc..) plank and place where it is getting done in bangalore and apprx price range...

Thanks.

Hi,

General low cost (300/- to 400/-)plank can hold the speakers, better you put one wooden patti on bottom of the plank,  it protect curve in later stage.

If you have pioneer speakers, than it's ok,  else select JBL.  the pioneer auth. dealer told me that JBL is better than pioneer.  Pioneer HU are the best.

All the best.

Thanks Rakesh:

Any idea where this can be done in bangalore. The current wooden plank hinges are gone and it is also a low cost local one.

What do you mean by "wooden patti on bottom of the plank", is it to have a better holding??

Thanks.

You have the Thanks button on the thread.

I noticed that over the age, the plank littel bit band due to some weight on it.  so better if you clip some support in starting, it will not band.

I don't have idea in B'lore about dealers. you can try this !
