CNG conversion is very much possible - inquire at your local CNG/LPG kit vendor.

As for power-steering, even though it is possible (if one is really hell-bent on doing it), the effort/time/money is not worth it. You'd be better off buying a vehicle that has power-steering built in from factory.

If you are staying in a metro CNG conversion is not possible as your vehicle is more than 10 years old. No Metro RTO will allow this. If you stay in non metros then you can still manage this.

Regarding power steering: yes - its possible only if there are models of your gypsy in production which already have power steering.

CNG and LPG are equally safe, if done from a good installer.
