If we fail to mention color change in the RC book, will it cause any issue or just done for the sake of doing it? Please specify what is exactly meant because if any major complication is hidden behind it than of course each and everyone should ensure that they get it updated.  Also have to take care of such things if looking for used vehicle to buy. Please share if you know more about it, as knowing the consequence will make people more aware of it.

The RTO has registry of all the cars & updating the records in RTO is equally important. Hence it is just not for sake but is mandatory to update the color change & get the same updated in RC smart card as well.
