Hi friends,

I have a maruti suzuki Alto, vxi, 2003 model, 1100cc engine which has run around 75,000 kms and is in perfect condition.

I am looking to get a CNG kit installed in it due to rising petrol prices.

I wanted to know if this is a good idea given the age of the car.

If yes, i would really appreciate if anyone can give me an idea of the cost involved and a good fitter near mayur vihar phase-1 area.

Regards

thnks arnv, for your reply.

There is an ecogas outlet in noida sec 2, they have quoted a price of 25,000 with 1 year warranty. The price includes the following:

1. Cng kit

2. advancer

3. emulator

4. lambda

5. RC endorsement

Does the price seem right?

Also is ecogas a good choice?

yeah...price seems to be fair witha lamda and advancer...dont know what emulator is...Undecided...

just check the same with some other outlet too...ask him about the name of the kit he is providing you and crosscheck it with some other fitter...cause with so many kits available in market ranging from as low as 18 k to 45-50 k...it becomes important to see what you are getting is actually of same price in whole market...!!
