@Rakesh - woofers are power hungry but the load the amp and sub combo puts onto the car's electric is really miniscule compared to other things (like the headlamps or the battery). And even so to really cause the sub to pull serious power from the car would mean running it at full volume - almost to the point of clipping by which time your ears might already be rendered deaf!!

Vibration from a sub give the feeling of a rough car - so that might be a factor in the perceived power loss.

@rohit.b.d.

I think you only replayed my last post, when i noticed the power loss after installing the Amp + Woofer in my Wagon R.

You clear my debuts here..

Any way now i am not feeling the power loss due to my habit   but still in high volumes when drum sound came in,  i feel power loss,  it might be due to vibration of woofer;  i notice this.

Well power loss will be evident in the form of worsened mileage. No change in mileage = no loss in power.

@ rohit.b.d.

mileage is depends on the uses, as my factory is very near to my home.  around <2 km and to reach i need to take route by small roads, lot of speed breaker so some time my Wagon R gives my <13KM and some time when I went out for city work,  it deliver around <15 - 16 (all from Tank full to Tank Full)

so it is difficult to say how much i am compromising for Amp + woofer.  but i like the bass

I noticed the same feel, when we drive the car with 2 persons or 3-4 persons weight.

Any way, i like this forum, to get knowledge more about cars and audio; here stuff is good

You buy any branded HU say poineer is the best.

Install good quaility speakers (JBL) on Plank,  and fit the Tube with Amp. (JBL again)  you will get better than any OEM ICE.

Recently i went for long tour, and I removed my Tube from boot for keeping the stuff.  I noticed the great difference in sound so Tube is must.

Now Tube is available in Just 3.5K.

all the best.
