I couldn't sleep the entire night and I slept at 8:30. So I couldn't make it. My apologies.

I even missed the FCCCI's rally today.

I tried this and I had understeer, I tried that and I had oversteer, at the end of the corner I just ran out of talent!

Ok guys, so finally we had small meet. Rachit & Stamford friend could not make it but My self, Stamford & Shripad had a very good time.

I left by 9.40 & reached Bandra Reclamation by 10am, saw Lovely black 1.6 POLO waiting for me. I later noticed Stamford next to it Wink

In the mean time Shripad called me & said he is on his way & should be there by 10.15.

Stamford: Fantastic guy to meet with. His passion about his cars is known when he said he washes all his cars. Never allows any one else to touch it Foot in mouth We both waited on lovely Mumbai sunny day discussing about VW & our little experiences of how we managed to steal our cars from VW plant Yell. We certainly had much to say & had much similar experiences. We discussed & felt each others car. I showed him my 3M film & he had put Llumer on sides of his lovely polo. He had little apprehension about putting film on front screen but was convinced after seeing mine.

In the mean time saw Shripads striking Red Vento & he joined us immediately. I think Carwale members do not need formal introductions & we catched on immodestly & continued our discussion.

Shripad had not put Films yet on his car so I am sure he now soon will get the same done since summer has arrived.

Shripad: Very cool personality with Hot Stick(Cigarette) in his hands. Remembered Pankaj..

I gtg out now since my lovely daughter has caught fever & I have to get medicine for her. Will certainly come back soon on our meet.

Till then Cheers....

Sorry guys, I was busy so could not post on the thread.

The VW Meet was a great way to spend a Sunday morning. A million times better than lazing around on one's bed.

Was waiting at Bandra Reclamation and within five minutes, I see a cool looking dude i.e. Master who arrives in his beautiful white Vento. Master's a great guy and is an absolute car enthusiast. He would say he's old now, but his passion for automobiles makes him 21 in my books.Wink

We instantly start discussing about our cars, and then Shripad arrives in his super hot Red Vento.

As Master earlier mentioned, Shripad getting down from his German beauty in his long kurta and holding a cigarette was a great sight. He's very knowledgeable about cars and almost everything related to them. He hopes of owning a BMW 320d in 2-3 years from now and I am sure he will.

We then headed to Carter's, and continued sharing our thoughts on a great English breakfast which we all relished! We had parked our cars a bit away from the restaurant, so we were all hoping that or VW logos were safeLaughing, and they were..

Later. we had a small photo session with our cars. We surely made some heads turn.

It truly was a Super Sunday!

Not anymore. Pankaj is off Ciggies for a long time (and hopefully still is off, I suppose).

Good to know y'all had a grand time together. I have wondered about Stamford being genuine, because of the outlandish intro he had given of himself. If he checks out ok, I'm mighty impressed!

Still,  no details of the great english breakfast, Master??

Stamford: Thanks for posting photographs of 3 Lovely cars with their wonderful Wink owners.

Yes , Now let me continue>

I tried Shripad's car to compare the ride. To confess , my Vento's ride with 205/55/15 Pirelli tyres was bit stiff with little body roll during car taking on any pot hole. Also the tyre rolling noise inside cabin was on higher side to his apollo stock on concrete surface. But on strightline with speed , i am quite happy with my tyres. Shripad also displayed few features like Viper service position, Door locking system, Child lock etc etc.. which certainly helped me to know my car better. I showed off a bit to them my 3M film especially on the front windshield & my Ground Zero speakers. We played same CD in 2 different cars to compare the output. Though I would say stock speakers are certainly to live with , my speakers were sharper & had nice treble. Shripad I suggest you also try POLK Coax, which I could not get.

Stamfords 1.6 Ride was amazing. Feel of petrol engine to diesel is certainly different & to try 1.6 Polo is the best way to compare. Stamford "s seat covers certainly made feel his seats wider, Both Shripad & I felt that his seats were much more comfertabel to ours.

Breakfast: We started hunting for food. We first thought of going to CCD or Barrista but then we saw Crape station with Set B/F menu & just got carriedaway with their display Tongue out. Any Egg preparation with Sausage & I think its was some Chicken dish ( sorry guys I am Eggeteranian) but donot remember as of now.

We all truly standing by our choice of VW Taste cars ordered for same make i.e Mushroom Omelete  as well as Fresh orange Juice(Which I belive Mixed with Pappaya). So now here all will certainly understand how one can have common taste Cool, Instead of Non veg part I opted for Baked Beans. Shripad here got lucky by getting an extra Beans as well Wink, which he gracefully gobbled down. The Omelete was ONE OF THE BEST  & WELL PREAPIRD I HAVE HAD TILL DATE.

Krisha , Hungry Kya???

In all we truly had wonderful time. Credit certainly also goes to Carwale which is the reason to make new breed of Lovely friends.

We all parted after tasting good time & food. Next Mumbai meet I am sure we will have new friends participating as well.

Cheers..
