Hi friends,

This is a good topic.I would blame the Swift driver around 90%.It is a traffic violation to follow the vehicle in front of you so closely.Also according to traffic rules,whatever mistake the vehicle in front does, if you hit that vehicle from behind, you have to pay the penalty.This was told to me by a traffic Police at a accident site.Also i could see many road accidents mainly due to maintaining insufficient space between the vehicle in front.

@Jey

Sorry to hear about the accident.Well I can imagine what you are feeling.Its a real shame that we people who care for our vehicles so much are involved in such incidents due to truckies who have no tail lights.Cant really blame the swift driver completly here.Last week i was coming home from nashik in night and its absoluetly difficult to see these truckies who have no tail lights.And to add more misery,they absolutely crawl and within no time we are on their tails.

Forget it as its just being at the wrong place at wrong time.

hi all, here in uk regardless of any circumstances if you hit some body from the back it,s your fault,no if's, no

but's,plain simply you should keep more distance. It works fine here but unfortunately not in india,when ever i tried to drive in india with a safe distance.you get people cutting in and people behind me start honking and my other half gives me that look that says, MAN YOU ARE IN INDIA

        regards..............ram
