I am an engineer working in bangalore. An automobile enthusiast

There was a time when the use of AC in car had a huge impact on fuel economy, is it the same now with new engines like K series , what are the other effects, i own a swift VXI and would like to know more on this

AC has quite low impact on Fuel economy these days. Moreover comfort is more important and a FE of ~1kmpl can be sacrificed for it. Tongue out

Yes still there is a difference but only about 1-1.5.
