Swift Diesel or indica V2 turbo diesel

i am planning to buy a diesel car.... i drive around 40 kms per day mainly on highway... comfort & economy is most important...

Swift diesel without thinking twice. It is definately more reliable and comfortable but its cost of ownership is higher and will be slightly higher in maintaining also but still for your peace of mind, go for the swift. Indica is technologically behind the swift.

well if its fits your budget... then i m sure SWIFT is the car 4 u ..

 

Indica Diesel cant even be compared to the SWIFT...   in front of
Swift... its an outdated car ...

and u dont need to worry about the maintainance either....its MARUTI !!... 

however if u're not interested in the Swift's shape...

wait for the FIAT PUNTO,INDICA V3,GetZ Diesel....these cars will have the latest Diesel technology...

Fiat Punto and Indica V3 would be having the same engine as Swift.... but offcource one shall wait for Fiat as Punto in Europe is doing very well. not only this Skoda Fabia is also coming next year.

With 40 km per day u can opt for petrol version....Any day swift is a better car than Indica V2 in al the departments(not sure abt. Boot space)

Fabia would be a premium hatchback car starting around 5.5-6 lacs where other cars like swift end.....However,Jazz and Yaris will compete with Fabia in this segment.....Again, Petrol for honda and toyota and deisel for Skoda.....Same situation as with Octavia,Civic,Corolla....

Swift is for you if you dont need much back space i.e rear seating and not worried about the price.

Else go for v2 turbo

With just 40 KMs a day, you can look at the Indica v2 Xeta as that is available at a great price point. I agree with the observations of the other readers that Swift is technically the better car, but it comes at a significantly higher price point. I have been driving an India v2 DLS for over 4 years and I'm very satisfied with thsi car. The driving might not be as smooth as the Swift, but hey the price is right.

Yes Indica is anyday VFM car.
