These give you the wattage of the high beam and low beam respectively in halogen bulbs.

The others available are 60/55 and 130/100. There are some legal restrictions on the usage of higher watts bulbs. But who cares..............Tongue out

In the olden days there used to be only incandescent bulbs of 35/35w.

As of now 130/100 is the max available in Halogen. Upto 300w is available in neon bulbs. But neon bulb comes in a kit costing min Rs.3000/ max going upto Rs.16000/

Well i think you should be pretty sure that the changes in wiring in any form is safe enough before using high wattage bulbs !

Neon - 300W??? I m shocked

Max wattage even goes upto 170 watts in halogen headlamps and usually it is not used on public roads by anyone. Max I ve used myself it 140/110

Regarding projectors, it is not a light source to determine wattage. It is a lens assembly that will focus light exactly where you want it to without any deviation and will also give a sharp cutoff in low beam. You will need to use a Halogen / HID bulb as the light source for a projector.

HIDs are widely used in wattage of 35w. There are a very few brands who offer 55w for the sake of not affecting headlamp diagnostics on some cars which are designed for 55w halogens as if a 35w HID is put, the system will show an error.
