Insurance Renewal

Friends,

Insurance for my Dzire will be expired 18December.  I would like to hear from you about the expected amount of the renewal premium. 

The existing details are as follows.

IDV - 480700/-
Own damage - 10739
Deductions - 268 for antitheft device, 200 for auto association membership and 3595 towards 35% NCB. 
So own damage => 6676/-

Liabalities Vehicle - 800, PA cover - 100 Driver -25 So total => 925

Grand total - 6676+925= 7601
ST - 783

TOTAL PREMIUM = 8384/-

What will be expected renewal premium?  As everyone knows, each company and even each agents have their own calculations.

You may use this link. Or else most webistes of insurance companies have such calculators on thier sites.

My suggestion is, "do not rely on agents etc". Renew it online that is the fastest cheapest and best way to renew.

In any case you have nothing to worry or lose by checking online. just fill up those forms and get the best quote.

If you want to go through agents, ask for their quotes as well and decide on the basis of IDVvs. Premium.

Checking online does not mean buying online. However, my experience is that you get best quotes from the websites themselves. In fact you can even do some customizations about what you want or do not want to cover and also in some sites, the IDV and NCB can be selected by you only. Check every site out is all that I can suggest (particularly the ones with which you want to go)

Buying online insurance is the best option now-a-days. In this way you eliminate the agent from the picture and not only save up on commissions but also shorten the process of renewal or claims.
