June nearly gone and no news of the Mini. Just got some news that the mini might be delayed till the end of the year. Does anyone else have some better news?

Got info from a friend who has a Scorpio that the Mini might be launched around Diwali. He was at the workshop and on enquiring found this out.
After seeing my joining date, I've come to realize that I have been on the hunt for a new car for 2 yrs now.......... ;-) and the searh is still on.

Doc recently I have seen premier RIO in a closer look it was fantastic and recently announced in our local news paper of VIZAG that it is having an option to have Fiat multijet 1.4LT disel engine promising 22KPL on highway with a better power delivery.

If the M&M is not matching to this it will be difficult for them to get customers and people long waiting(like me) will have only disappointed feelings. Unfortunately company is not speaking any thing about this vehicle and people just guessing things by seeing some spy pictures. I am still having a hope of buying A MINI XYLO.

Thanks

We have 2 Rio's zipping around in Indore and I sure have fallen in love with the Rio. I would have bought the car had it not been for the doubtful after sales service and the lack of a showroom here.

I guess both u and I are in the same boat. I too have been waiting for a long time for the mini and am only hoping that it would be worth a buy.

I'm not sure if one can fit the multijet into the Rio as the 2 companies are seperate and have no tie up with each other. One is the Premier tractors and the other is Fiat......... so am not sure how the equation works out.
